I usually like to comment on my process, or the story behind my artwork, or things like that. But this is one of the ones where I don't really have much to say. I drew Carrie with her dick out. Not really much more to it than that. I do have something else to talk about, though.
So, I've been looking into other paint programs, and I had about an hour to play around with one of those before I have to go work. So I don't have enough time to do much more than play around with a shading layer a little bit. Above is the old shading method. Finished that one last night, and the shading step took about forty minutes.
Below is the one I made this morning. Took a little over an hour, probably about seventy minutes. The space between the flat color (which is still extremely flat, because bucket fill and time constraints) and the shading area should be softer than the one above. It's definitely visibly softer under a microscope, but I don't know how noticeable it is from a distance.
I'd like some comments on this one. It's pretty preliminary, but I'd like to know if anybody can see a difference here. It might take some more time and toying with the program to get an actual softness to the shading layer.
