So, I tried to keep this particular nude tasteful, so I could potentially show off my fancy new drawing tools to people like ... you know ... my parents. Or the one of my two non-internet friends who probably wouldn't be cool with me showing her pictures of people fucking. Or just people who might not be super into freaky worm lewds in general.

Basically, Violet it posing nude to show off the parts of her that would normally be hidden under clothing, rather than posing nude because she wants to show off her pussy specifically. This is not the time and place for that.

Above is the usual product of my drawing process. For a single character and no real action, I spent probably about three hours on that, maybe three and a half. I could get that mostly done in one night. The line-work is actually very clean, considering my tools, since I'm tracing over notebook sketches using a curve tool, so it's like using a straightedge, but ... you know ... curved.

This took me almost nine hours (granted, some of that was trying to figure out how things work), and the line-work looks like shit. The coloring will probably improve from here on, but the linework probably won't. See, I had to do my paper artwork, and then do the whole cleanup work with a curve tool, and then trace over that a second time in a program without a curve tool. Meaning this was drawn free-hand with a mouse, and it really, really shows if you look at it up close. I did the absolute best that I can, and for the record, my laptop has a touch screen. I cannot draw on a touch screen for some reason. Completely incapable. Looks MUCH worse than just using the mouse even. It's embarrassingly bad. My touch screen attempt almost looked like I tried to draw with a mouse using my feet. Investing in a drawing tablet wouldn't help me, because even if it would, I don't actually need one to draw on a touch screen. I'm just irredeemably terrible at it.

Here's the deal. If I don't actually put in the two hours of work to trace over the linework a second time free-hand with a mouse, then I don't have access to the fancy color tools, because in order to color effectively, I can only use linework that's done in the fancy drawing program. The one without a curve tool. No two hours of nonsense means I can't actually do any fancy coloring without completely obliterating the original linework, I have to do the very long, very arduous mouse-tracing first.

Hi, this is me from the future. It turns out I'm an idiot and the curve tool was hiding from me. Not only will this significantly clean up my linework, it'll also cut many hours and most of the painful tedium off my work time, and makes the fancier coloring process extremely doable. In short, shit's only getting better looking from here on. 😍
